Doug Clough is the principal Engineer and President of Omega & Associates Engineering Ltd. with over twenty-five years’ experience in civil and structural design engineering, project coordination and construction supervision.  Mr. Clough is registered as a Designated Structural Engineer (Struct Eng.) with APEGBC, and is registered in Alberta, Nova Scotia, Alaska, and Washington State.  Mr. Clough’s experience includes building design utilizing concrete, steel, timber, and heavy timber. He has worked on projects ranging from custom homes, commercial buildings, agricultural facilities, industrial buildings and structures. He has also been involved with the seismic upgrade of schools and hospital facilities in the Province of BC and renovations and upgrades to other buildings.

David Drummond is a Senior Civil Engineer with over 30 years’ experience on municipal projects. He is currently the Senior Principal Civil Engineer for Omega and Associates Engineering, with his duties being shared between the Langley and Chilliwack offices. His diverse background includes project management, modelling, design and construction supervision for Municipal capital works improvement projects, for water, roads, and sewer works, treatment plants and pumping stations. He is also involved with land development planning, design and construction for multi-million dollar subdivisions, industrial, commercial and institutional projects.

Mr. Drummond has been involved in the environmental assessment, design, tendering and construction of water and sewage treatment plants, associated infrastructure and marine works in the District Municipality of Muskoka (Ontario), as well as land development approvals for the municipality. He has been responsible for liaison with Federal, Provincial and Municipal Government departments in the reporting for such projects. Mr. Drummond has performed feasibility studies, design work, contract administration, inflow and infiltration studies, and underground utility rehabilitation assessments contract . He has worked for contractors, municipalities & consultants, and has a comprehensive understanding of the engineering industry.

Tim Dunne is a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer with 14 years of experience in civil and structural engineering. His work includes concept development, design, project management and inspection. Mr Dunne has a wide variety of experience on projects within BC. This includes structural design of buildings, single lane bridges, foot bridges and industrial structures. Mr Dunne also completes insurance industry claim related building structural investigations and reporting. Civil engineering projects Mr. Dunne has completed include industrial and urban road design in steep terrain, subdivisions and development projects. Mr. Dunne`s passions include sawn timber and round log wood structures, detailed written reporting and the synergies and savings present in environmentally responsible and fiscally sustainable land development. Mr. Dunne has also worked on numerous storm detention and infiltration systems. . Mr Dunne has worked for industrial clients, development companies, municipalities and provincial government agencies.  Mr. Dunne volunteers on City Committees including The Environmental Advisory Committee and the Heritage Commission. Mr. Dunne is also president of Shuswap Construction Industry Professionals ( SCIP).

Shervin Momtahen is a senior civil engineer with over 16 years of experience. Mr. Momtahen’s main expertise is design of commercial and residential developments and hydraulic and hydrological modeling. He specializes in civil engineering design of storm and sanitary sewers, storm water management and detention systems, site grading design, road works, water systems modeling, calculations and mathematical optimization models. At Omega Engineering, Mr. Momtahen has designed and managed projects ranging from 2 to 200+ unit residential subdivisions and townhouse developments and to commercial site servicing and parking lot grading and drainage in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, Hope, Surrey, Langley, etc. in BC, Saskatchewan and Alberta. He is considered as the main expert for water modeling and calculations at Omega helping other Omega offices in such calculations.

David Seida is a Structural Engineer in Training with six years of design experience. Mr. Seida has design experience with all the main construction materials; steel, concrete, timber, and masonry construction. David has worked on projects including residential houses, multifamily condo projects, commercial buildings, industrial structures including cranes and electrical substation terminal structures.

Tanner Braaten is a Structural Engineer in Training with three (3) years of construction management/design experience. Mr. Braaten has design experience with the following construction materials; steel, concrete, and timber construction. In addition, Tanner has a large variety of project management and construction experience in the municipal, pipeline, as well as the oil and gas sectors. Tanner has worked on projects including residential houses, commercial buildings, pipeline construction, heavy civil construction, municipal design, and road construction.

ANDRÉ GAGNÉ is a junior civil design engineer with 1 year of experience. Mr. Gagné’s expertise includes design of residential subdivisions, commercial developments, municipal roadways, and municipal utilities. He specializes in civil engineering design of road works, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, storm water management, detention systems, site grading, erosion & sediment control, water mains, and hydraulic modelling.
Other than projects at Omega Engineering, Mr. Gagné has worked on both infrastructure rehabilitation and infrastructure construction projects in Lloydminster, AB. He completed site investigations, surveys, grading and drainage design, construction management, and quality control for several projects.
